Abstract

|
Objectives: There are many studies on the oriental medical treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, but few on the MRI follow-up scans after treatment. So we wanted to know the difference of MRI scan after the treatment.
Methods: The first MRI examination was performed at the acute phase of the low back pain and radiculopathy, and the second performed after treatment. And we compared with previous scan.
Results and Conclusion: The second scan shows improved state of bulging disc in L4-5, L5-S1 level, compared with previous scan.
